International Olympic Fellowship Exchange
Besides local involvement with Sports for Alland YOSA Clubs training and programs, YOSA Fort Collins encourages their players to gain various cultural experiences. YOSA has done this by beginning a combination of sports and language projects in an international Olympic fellowship exchange, which has begun this winter (Press Release). This exchange will create a center for international Olympic coaches and athletes, here in FOrt Collins, whom want to learn English, visit the USOTC in Colorado Springs and enjoy the mountains of Colorado to do so.
Currently, Dr. Gylton Da Matta, Executive Sports Director of YOSA, is a board member of Vôlei+, non-profit organization which is located Rio de Janeiro. Our ultimate goal will be organizing various exchange programs between coaches and players to travel internationally, including Greece, China, and other U.N. Nations. Athletes will improve techniques and develop out of the box thinking skills through lessons taught by international coaches. The most important aspect will be incorporating the Olympic values of peace, excellence, respect and friendship as our core living values.
