YOSA Hockey Recreational League

The recreational leagues, often called "house" leagues, are the best way to get started in inline hockey, and they represent the heart of what we do!  We run several seasons every year, and players can add at any time. The league currently has 2 primary age divisions for youth - Elementary (5th grade and below) and Middle School (6th - 9th grade).  We try to have kids play in the appropriate league for their age group, but we know that different kids have differing skill levels and needs, so are very willing to allow for players to move "up" or "down" based on skill level and need.

Each player will need full gear, including stick, skates, shin pads, elbow pads, gloves, helmet and mouthguard.  Although they are not required, an inline hockey girdle (hip & thigh pads) is recommended.

We do have limited amounts of "loaner" equipment available for those just starting, so be sure to check with us!

Youth Olympic Sports Academy Hockey Club League

Additional Fees may apply

Our Firebirds & Rams Club teams play as part of a statewide organization of rinks, and represent the "next level" of hockey from the recreational leagues.  These teams travel to tournaments roughly once per month during the club season (January to June), with most of the tournaments taking place at the CET Arena in Colorado Springs.
Players on these teams face new opponents and challenges, and have a great time bonding as a team during their outings away from Northern Colorado!
This is a "no cut" league, so anyone who wants to take that next step and participate is more than welcome to come out!

YOSA School Competitive Leagues

Additional Fees May apply

September- November

Middle and High School students have specific, statewide leagues designed for competitive play between schools and districts from all over the state.  This league is focused on a full 12-game season, including 6 home games are played here at Qdoba Events Center, and 6 away games are played in other rinks (mainly the CET Arena in Colorado Springs, but also including Parker Field House).

We are currently fielding "unified" teams in both Middle and High School leagues, with players from all schools in the Ft Collins - Loveland - Windsor area.  Players are evaluated by the coaching staff, and assigned to the appropriate level of play in each league, with teams being Varsity or Junior Varsity.
